In the bustling city of Seoul, amidst the chaos of everyday life, there lived a young man named Jae-hyun. Jae-hyun was handsome, with a kind heart and a longing for something more in life. Little did he know, his life was about to take a fantastical turn.


In the celestial realm, there existed a stunning angel named hae-ri

Hae-ri was not like other angels. While her brethren remained in the celestial realm, content with their duties, Hae-ri yearned for something more. She longed to experience the beauty of the mortal world, to walk among the humans and marvel at the wonders of creation.


And so, every so often, Hae-ri would sneak away from her celestial duties, slipping through the veil between worlds to explore the vibrant tapestry of life on Earth. 


One day, Hae-ri sneaked back to Earth under the cover of night. As darkness blanketed the land, she couldn't help but smile, delighting in the beauty of the flowers around her. Ramyeon and tteokbokki were her favorite earthly indulgences, especially when enjoyed with a sip of soju. After a satisfying meal, she frolicked with joy, her laughter echoing through the night.


In her playful dash, Hae-ri collided with Jae-hyun, their paths crossing unexpectedly. Jae-hyun was mesmerized by her ethereal beauty, his heart racing at the sight of her. Before he could utter a word, Hae-ri, sensing the urgency to return home, hurried away, leaving Jae-hyun bewitched by her presence.


As Jae-hyun made his way home, a smile graced his lips, his thoughts consumed by the enchanting encounter. He pondered over the mysterious girl he had just encountered, marveling at her unparalleled beauty. It was then that he spotted a shooting star streaking across the sky, prompting him to make a wish.


In that moment, Jae-hyun realized the true essence of a genuine wish—one born from belief and sincerity. Little did he know, his heartfelt desire had already been fulfilled, paving the way for an extraordinary journey.


Meanwhile, Hae-ri's heart fluttered with unease as she sensed a mortal's wish echoing through the cosmos. Fear gripped her as she raced to the gate that connected the realms, knowing that her fate hung in the balance.


(In the world's rules, if a human makes a wish for an angel, and the angel is on Earth, they will be stuck there until the wish is granted. Hae-ri remembered this rule and started running to the door that would take her back home before it closed)


With determination in her eyes, Hae-ri sprinted towards the gate, her resolve faltering as she reached for the handle. To her dismay, the door slammed shut before her, sealing her fate to the mortal world until the wish was fulfilled.


Tears welled up in Hae-ri's eyes as the realization sunk in—she was trapped, unable to return home unless she could genuinely love Jae-hyun. But for an angel like her, accustomed to the purity of celestial love, the task seemed daunting.


Meanwhile, Jae-hyun remained oblivious to the wish he had unwittingly made, his heart brimming with joy from their encounter. Unbeknownst to him, the key to Hae-ri's return lay in his genuine love and affection.


She was there, saddened, crying deeply as the rain started falling. Tears streamed down her face as she sobbed in the downpour, her heart heavy with sorrow.


All angels have their powers, but in Episode 2, we will find out what kind of power Hae-ri possesses, or if she has lost her power. Demons also roam the earth, and they could potentially thwart Hae-ri from fulfilling her wish. However, it's only in Episode 2 that we can uncover what truly happened to Hae-ri and Jae-hyun.
